Sanibel Beach

Have you ever been in Paradise?
Cape Coral, at the west coast of Florida, is directly at the Gulf of Mexico. With one of our nice boats, you reach the wonderful beaches of Sanibel Island and Captiva.

Sanibel Island
An island south west of the coast. It is reknown for its wonderful beaches, the light house and - of course, for its multifaceted shells. The preferred vehicle on the island is either bicycle or moped. There are a few parking lots, but not many.

Bailey-Matthews Shell Museum
: An exhibition of shells from all over the world and various collectibles of shell ornaments, jewelry and religious objects. Addresse: 3075 Sanibel-Captiva Rd.. Opened Tue-Su 10.00 a.m. - 4.00 p.m. except holidays.

Captiva Island
The neighbor island of Sanibel, ist linked with a bridge. It is not so highly frequented, maybe, because it is a little further than Sanibel. There are a number of accommodations, restaurants and beaches...

Pine Island
Between Cape Coral and Sanibel/Captiva lies the larger Pine Island with some more places of the other kind. As the island is not a beach and bathing spot, it is away from the main tourist business and inequivitably ignored. It is a subropical island with mango and pineapple plantations and traditional fishing. Pine Island Center is the central place of the island, referring to shopping and activities. From there up north you get to the fishing village Bokeelia or down south to St.James City, the largest village on the island. From here you can arrange boat trips. This island is a quiter place, off the beaten track and ideal for the nature lover
